Our story

Brushes & Brews was created by me, Chloe, while I was on maternity leave with my second baby. Based in Lampeter, I wanted to create something that combined my love of creativity with my love of bringing people together.

What started as a little idea has grown into a place where people can come along, switch off from everyday life, get creative and enjoy a few hours of good company, good coffee and plenty of fun. 

I’m lucky enough to host my regular workshops at Joio, my mum’s coffee shop in Lampeter, which makes Brushes & Brews even more special to me. It’s a lovely, relaxed space where we can paint, create, chat and enjoy a coffee/cake along the way.

From Sip n Paint evenings and Doormatt painting to candle painting, seasonal crafts and creative workshops, I’m always coming up with new ideas and adding new experiences. I also offer private events and parties and can bring the creativity to your venue too.

As Brushes & Brews has grown, I’ve been adding lots of little touches to make each workshop feel like a proper experience — from branded aprons and step by step guides to paint mixing guides, business cards and plenty of other details behind the scenes.
